Opened for curiosity sake prior to listing for sale to ensure quality. WOW ! Perfect Cork, beautiful deep honeyed colour. Very Christmas pudding esk', amazing mouthfeel, the viscosity is wonderful. Amazing length, perfectly balanced alcohol, really a treat and in such amazing condition after 20 years in the bottle. Christmas in July is the perfect time to experience this little beauty. The Chambers family have been making fortified wines in the world famous region of Rutherglen for more than six generations and it shows. Some of the finest, not to mention affordable, fortifieds being produced anywhere in the world. A true Australian icon.
A dense mahogany hue, suggesting prodigious age across the blend of wines contributing to this kaleidoscope of textures, aromas and flavour. Cedar, varnish, grape spice, date rose water, given life by a rancio walnut tang. Immense. Exotic. Paradoxically, savoury. -

What do you need from me to get started?
We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.
How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.
Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?
All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.

Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
