Seller FAQs
We sell your bottles at auction.
We run an auction through our website. You must post the bottles to our warehouse prior to us
listing them in the next available auction.
The sellers fees are:
- We charge 15% Sellers Commission of the winning bid (plus GST)
- There are no listing fees to sell your bottles.
- You are also welcome to agree and set a reserve at no charge.
Please note if your bottle has previously run in 2 auctions without sale, to continue listing the item the reserve price will be discounted by 10% on each subsequent auction, until sold or returned to you.
Reserve Restrictions
- Any bottles readily available at retail can only have a maximum reserve of 60% of the current retail value.
- Your reserve may be displayed during the auction.
- Once sold, we arrange careful delivery at the buyer's expense.
Please note if you wish to withdraw your bottle for sale return postage fees apply. Bottles cannot be
withdrawn during a live auction.
Sell your bottles on consignment

We sell your bottles via eBay or other sales channels
We charge 25% Sellers Commission on the agreed sales price. Inclusive of eBay fees. We can use eBay to sell your bottles. You must post the bottles to our warehouse prior to us listing them on eBay. We then photograph the bottles and list them for sale. Please note we will add
delivery onto your sales price ($30). Once the item sells we pay you the agreed sales price (net of delivery) less our commission.
Please note:
- if you wish to withdraw your products/bottle for sale return postage fees apply.
- you cannot withdraw mid-auction.
We can make an offer to buy your bottles upfront
If you need to sell your bottles in a hurry, we can offer to buy your bottles outright. Please note this price is approximately 45% under what we consider fair value. Once we agree on a value, you must post the bottles to our warehouse. As soon as the bottles are checked you will be paid immediately.

All bottles sent to us are done so at your own risk. We cannot be responsible for any damage or loss in transit. Please keep a note of your tracking numbers and couriers for your records. Please check with the courier about insuring your bottles.

How should I pack my bottles for transport?
Please use a strong cardboard box which will allow you to keep the bottles upright. You'll also need plenty of bubble wrap or packing materials to make sure that the bottles and boxes are well protected. Fragile tape or stickers are also worth attaching to the outer box.
What bottles do we accept?
We specialise in wine & whiskies but we do accept other alcohol as well.
We reserve the right to refuse any bottle. If there is any concern about the authenticity of a bottle, it will not be listed for sale. In the event of a dispute arising over the provenance or authenticity of any bottle, if it cannot be proved to be genuine, it will be returned to the seller.
How will I be paid for my bottles?
If you are a successful seller, we will not process your payments until the buyer has paid us. Please note for Auctions, buyers are given 5 days to pay at completion of an auction. You are also welcome to use your balance as a credit towards other purchases.
What if my bottle fails to meet my reserve price?
If your bottle fails to meet your specified reserve price during auction you have a number of options:
- Relist your bottle in the next monthly auction.
- Ask us to arrange a deal with the highest bidder.
- Request the bottle be returned (Postage fees apply).

Are my bottles insured while in our possession?
No, you will require your own insurance.
