The 2018 vintage stands out for its harmonious balance, seductive aromas, and complex flavor profile.
Tasting Notes:
The Château Palmer 2018 expresses a deep, vivid ruby color and unfolds with enticing aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, and violets, enriched by a subtle hint of cedar and tobacco. On the palate, it reveals layers of plush, ripe berries, and plum, supported by silky tannins and a finely tuned structure that leads to a long, persistent finish. Its elegance is matched by a robust intensity that promises further development with age.
Vinification:
Carefully selected grapes undergo a precise vinification process in temperature-controlled vats, followed by aging in French oak barrels to enhance the wine's depth and complexity without overpowering its natural character.

Deep colour intense dark cherry, black currant fruits with mocha espresso notes. Amazingly powerful and expressive wine with deep set blackcurrant pastille fruits, richly concentrated graphite tannins. Incredible balance and mineral length. Superb density and complexity. The wine of the vintage? -

Deep dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate rim. Intense notes of black forest berries, a hint of liquorice and cassis, candied violets followed by berry jam, some nougat and tangerine zest, immensely seductive bouquet, a hint of cedar underlay. Juicy, black cherries, blackberry confit, ripe tannins with great structure and length, pronounced fruit and a touch of chocolate on the finish, lingers for minutes, great the wine of this vintage, has what it takes to become a classic. A glycerin texture sets this apart, giving the cascade of plum, currant, blackberry and black cherry fruit extra oomph, while seeming to heighten the purity at the same time. Beautiful violet, incense and juniper notes flash in the background. This is packed with iron-laced grip, but remains seamless and extremely long. I suspect this will be one of the most talked-about wines of the vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now. Score range: 97-100
