Sell Whisky with Cellar Link Auctions
Interested in selling your whisky through Cellar Link Auctions? We host weekly auctions year-round, offering a seamless selling experience with a small seller’s commission.
Here's what you need to know:
- Listing Fee: $0 (including GST) per lot per auction.
- Reserve Price Fee: $0 (including GST) per lot if you choose to set a reserve price.
- Bottle Submission Deadline: Submissions are accepted up to 7 days before the auction start date.
We also provide complimentary bottle collection for sellers located within 20 km of Sydney CBD, with a minimum of 6 (mixed) bottles.
How to Get Started

Registration
To sell with Cellar Link Auctions, you must first register as a seller.- Visit the signup page here.
- Ensure you’ve read and agreed to our Terms & Conditions.

Bottle Submissions
- Submit accurate details about your bottles to maximize your chances of achieving the best sale price. Preferred that this is provided in Excel Format.
Bottle Delivery Options:
- Drop-off or post bottles to our facility for inspection and photography.
- Use our complimentary collection service (Sydney CBD, minimum 6 bottles) by submitting a Excel list along with your bottles.
Setting Reserve Prices
You may add a reserve price to protect the value of your bottles. A reserve price fee of $0 (including GST) per lot is applicable. Typically Reserve prices are capped as follows:
- 75% of current retail price (if still available in Australia).
- 75% of the previous auction hammer price.
- 25% above the RRP for sold-out new releases.

After Bottle Submission
- Your lots will be listed in your vendor account during the week leading up to the auction. You can review and request adjustments to the listings before the auction begins.
- Track bids and auction performance directly through your vendor account.
Payment Process
Payments are typically processed within 14 days of auction completion, subject to buyer payments. All fees, such as listing, reserve, courier, or import duties, are deducted from the sale proceeds.
