Tasting Notes: The palate is rich with a velvety texture, featuring layers of blackberry, dark chocolate, and fine tannins that lead to a long and satisfying finish. Magnificent colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core and very deep dark purple-black hue. Ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas ooze from the glass followed by some dark plum, vanillin oak, confectionary and subtle pepper end notes. Rich and fleshy with a soft plush mouthfeel, yet quite refined the palate boasts sumptuous blackberry, liquorice and dark plum flavours over spicy vanillin cedar with some pepperiness on the finish. Structured yet velvety tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy blackberries, liquorice, dark plum, vanillin cedar and black pepper.
