Situated in the Pomerol appellation, Château La Fleur-Pétrus is a widely regarded estate producing elegant Merlot-dominant wines. Tasting Notes: The 2016 vintage of Château La Fleur-Pétrus is a meticulously crafted blend predominantly featuring Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc. It dazzles with a complex bouquet of ripe black cherries, plums, and an elegant undercurrent of truffles and violets. On the palate, the wine unfolds with layers of silky tannins, harmoniously integrated with flavors of dark berries, chocolate, and a hint of spicy oak, leading to a long, opulent finish.
Vinification: This wine is a result of a rigorous selection process, ensuring that only the best grapes contribute to its depth and complexity. After careful harvesting, the grapes undergo a precise fermentation process followed by aging in French oak barrels, which imparts a subtle strength and character that is both distinctive and memorable.

Your Questions, Answered
What do you need from me to get started?
We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.
How many wines are in each Lot?
You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.

All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.
How much is the Buyers' Commission?
We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.
What are your freight charges?
Please see our Delivery Policy for full details relating to freight.
Is there a Guarantee on my wine?
Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
