Product Name: Yalumba 'The Signature' Barossa - Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2014 - 750mL

Description: Experience the legacy of one of Australia’s oldest wineries with Yalumba 'The Signature' Barossa 2014, a harmonious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz that exemplifies the rich winemaking heritage of the Barossa Valley. This 750 mL bottle is a tribute to the craftsmen who have played a significant role in Yalumba’s history, making it a prestigious addition to any wine collection.

Tasting Notes: Yalumba 'The Signature' 2014 showcases the vibrant synergy between Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, delivering a robust and layered flavor profile. Expect a complex bouquet of dark fruits like blackberries and plums, enhanced by nuances of chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of peppery spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with a fine tannin structure that leads to a long, satisfying finish.

Vinification: Each varietal in this blend is fermented separately in small batches to ensure maximum flavor extraction and complexity. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in both new and seasoned French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels for over 20 months, adding subtle depth and character to the final blend.

  • Andrew Caillard 97 points “Very well-balanced wine with lovely density, richness and volume. At a very good stage of development but should continue to mature evenly for years to come.”

  • James Suckling: 94 points - "Lush and opulent with a silky texture that envelops the palate. This vintage marks a high point for this iconic label."

Cellaring Potential: While immediately enjoyable, this wine also offers excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve and develop over the next decade, revealing greater complexity and integration of its flavors.
