Description: Experience the luxury and depth of the 2016 Houghton Gladstones Cabernet Sauvignon, a prestigious wine from the world-renowned Margaret River region. This exquisite 750 mL bottle features a Cabernet Sauvignon that is celebrated for its intensity and elegance, crafted from vines that thrive in the unique coastal terroir.
Tasting Notes: The 2016 Gladstones Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a bouquet of dark fruit aromas, including blackcurrant and ripe blueberries, complemented by a hint of mint and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a rich, velvety texture. Layers of dark chocolate, cedar, and tobacco lead to a finish that is both long and satisfying, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent, spicy undertone.
Vinification: The grapes for this vintage were meticulously handpicked from select vineyard blocks known for their low yields and high-quality fruit. Following harvest, the wine was aged in French oak barrels to enhance its structural complexity while preserving the vibrant fruit flavors characteristic of Margaret River Cabernet.

Pairing Suggestions: Ideal with robust dishes such as grilled lamb, beef bourguignon, or a charcuterie board featuring aged cheeses and smoked meats. It’s also a superb accompaniment to dark chocolate desserts for a decadent pairing.
