Description: Dive into the splendor of Bordeaux with the Château La Tour du Pin - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2009, a stellar vintage from one of the most respected appellations in France. This exquisite red wine showcases a perfect blend of power and elegance, encapsulating the very essence of its prestigious origins.

Tasting Notes: The 2009 Château La Tour du Pin exudes a rich and complex aroma profile, marked by vibrant red fruits like raspberry and cherry, layered with hints of truffle, cedar, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it reveals a beautifully structured body with a balance of ripe tannins and refreshing acidity that leads to a long, satisfying finish. Its flavors are a harmonious blend of dark chocolate, blackberry, and spices, making it a perfect accompaniment to robust dishes and aged cheeses.

Vintage Review: The 2009 vintage in Saint-Emilion was marked by an optimal growing season, often compared to the legendary 2005 vintage. Favorable weather conditions led to fully ripened grapes, resulting in wines with intense flavors and exceptional aging potential.

Your Questions, Answered

What do you need from me to get started?

We will need you to confirm that you are over 18 (for obvious reasons!) and to open an account by registering on the site. This will include provision of credit card details for any eventual purchases. You will also need to sign that you have read the terms and conditions.

How many wines are in each Lot?

You will see the quantity (number of bottles) stated above the price. Please note that the bid-price is per bottle so you will need to multiply the price by the number of bottles in the lot to calculate the total price of the lot.

Can I cancel my bid if I change my mind?

All bids are final - please think before you confirm your bid.

How much is the Buyers' Commission?

We have an extremely competitive buyers' commission of 16.5% (GST inclusive). This will be added to the final winning price of your Lot at the end of the auction.

What are your freight charges?

Please see our Delivery Policy for full details relating to freight.

Is there a Guarantee on my wine?

Under Australian law, consumer guarantees do not apply to goods purchased at auction - all such purchases are at the risk of the Buyer. We will always provide as much detail as we can as to the visual condition and provenance of each Lot, however this is done so as a guide rather than as a guarantee.
